KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implement and manage health, environmental and safety, and housekeeping standards within the operational departments, including the development of project specific safety plans and JSAs
- Lead, develop, and optimize the operations of the Field, Laboratory, and Engineering departments in the advancement of customer solutions utilizing the HTX Mobile Wastewater Treatment
- Manage equipment and material resources including purchasing, maintenance, repair, inventory, permitting, transportation, storage, and liquidation
- Manage project tasks, track and manage costs and schedule, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget
- Inspire a client centric, high-performing culture across departments
- Investigate, assess and recommend process efficient and cost-effective equipment solutions for client wastewater issues
- Take ownership for, and ensure high quality output for client facing deliverables
- Investigate operating abnormalities and incidents to improve equipment uptime and performance and to minimize service interruption
- Establish and maintain an effective staff through hiring recommendations, performance appraisals, and developing technical competence
- Develop, review and refine standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency, performance and safety
- Establish reporting frameworks, controls and benchmarks to monitor and provide timely feedback on field and laboratory operational performance
- Create structures and processes to encourage innovative technical solutions which bring added value to the company’s commercial offerings
- Assemble the required team and collaboratively work across the organization to produce technical scopes of work, process flow diagrams, and client proposals
- Make recommendations regarding scope and resource requirements for projects in the sales
- Lead the development of departmental budgets and financial forecasting
- Engage in client meetings as HTX operations subject matter expert
- Field work and travel will be required to assist in system construction, start-up/commissioning, operations, and maintenance support

Job Specifications / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in operations management preferably for large engineering, design, and construction projects in the wastewater treatment industry
- Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from proposal through closeout, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors
- Effective team leadership skills, including clear communications, strong organization skills, and the ability to inspire subordinates
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and translate complex technical concepts into non-technical and business language
- Hands on practical experience implementing water treatment projects
- Ability to perform analytical and creative problem solving and troubleshooting
- Clean driving record
- This position may require exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, wind, and water

The position requires applied process and wastewater treatment knowledge to evaluate, troubleshoot and improve operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely under pressure without little to no supervision.

- Responsible for field trouble-shooting on HTX Mobile Wastewater Treatment units and auxiliary wastewater treatment equipment including instrumentation, electrical interconnect and wiring, motors, motor starters, pumps, valves, PLC/HMI program, piping, transformers, power supplies, power generators, etc
- Train Operators on safe and efficient operation of the HTX Mobile Wastewater Treatment units and auxiliary wastewater treatment equipment as well as on new and innovative operational approaches
- Collect all site purchase receipts for miscellaneous goods and services and forward to Management
- Responsible to maintain spare parts and kit inventory during all phases of site set-up, commissioning, start-up, operations and preparation for demobilization
- Collect field and facility wastewater and treated water samples for testing
- Maintain records and observations of Site Operational Data, including reporting to HTX management
- Produce timely and detailed daily operating reports
